He repeats himself because he's unsure of where his words stand, Ignore.

Challenge him on it and see for yourself.

His is a delicate and naive world where the constructs on his opinion or argument are more important than the very essence of his opinion, which he then in turn deems to be a fact since he said as much and he's not to be quizzed, analyzed, or render ignorant.

If I were you, Ignore, I'd be calling him the hypocrite and setting up a one on one no-holds barred thread between just yourself and he in order to prove the faulty mechanisms he operates by.
