Definition of Usergroups
[Registered Users] Basic User - Basic registered user. Can not use the search function, vote in polls, view another users profile information, or access various other enhanced features of the website. Once an account has achieved the required credentials it will be automatically promoted to an enhanced registered user. Enhanced Registered User - A member who has been registered for at least 60 days and has made over 100 posts. This usergroup has full forum permissions activated. [Deciplinary Usergroups] Post Whores - Limited permissions. This usergroup is reserved for spammers and 'tards. Shoutbox and voting privileges as well as other enhanced and basis abilities are stripped. Demoted Registered Users - Members who have abused the forum privileges attributed to their account by spamming the shoutbox, PM spamming, cheating in polls and/or interrupting Callouts, et cetera.. are designated into this usergroup. Members of this usergroup are stripped of certain abilities. Posting Guidelines
Although Brawl-Hall was founded on the principles of free-speech and uncensored forum activity we take great care to keep the site and forums from degenerating into a glorified AOL chatroom. This is to insure a quality reading environment for all of our users. Keep in mind that first and foremost Brawl-Hall is for entertainment purposes, therefore, although censorship is never practiced on the Brawl Hall forums guidelines have to be put into place and are totally necessary in-order for an interactive and coherent community to run. (1) Being unpopular, hated, or vicious is not against the guidelines on Brawl Hall. However excessive complaining to the forum Admins or any other "authorities" over your treatment here on Brawl Hall is against the guidelines. If you feel as though your treatment here on the Hall is too harsh or rowdy for your taste then you are encouraged to leave. This is just not the place for you and we do not want you here. If one of your threads gets sent to the dumpster and you feel inclined to start another thread for the sole purpose of complaining don't be surprised if your next topic gets the exact same treatment. (2) No intentional spamming or flooding of these forums. Spamming in any form will not be tolerated. On Brawl Hall intentional spam is defined as numerous postings containing little or no content with the obvious intent of flooding current threads back and/or cluttering the forums. Constantly posting variations of the exact same messages, post whoring, excessive whining, or submitting numerous post to unrelated threads will also be considered spamming. Advertising and constantly spamming URL's to shitty websites or services is prohibited. They will be removed and potentially censored from our forums. (3) Respect for the privacy of fellow members is expected. We reserve the right to remove or edit any postings containing a members IP addy, address, phone number, or any other personal information the administration considers inappropriate. You may also not post links to websites which contain such info. Websites or message board communities who violate the privacy of members here will have their URL's blocked from the forum. (4) Brawl Hall is a verbal oriented forum. Pictures are perfectly fine as well as encouraged in many circumstances however please take caution to not over do it or your submissions may be considered spam. Keep your avatar and sig images within reason. A disruptive avatar or sig, whether intentional or not, is considered spam. (5) No cloning of members with the intention of falsely representing yourself as another. And lastly, (6) Any actions considered damaging to the functioning of this community as a whole will not be tolerated. As if we have to tell you this? At the discretion of the administrators, participating in one or more of the above may get you banned via your IP or username. Getting banned means that not only will your posting activity in Brawl Hall be terminated but you will no-longer be able to access or read any of the forums at all. There are no loop-holes here, we will interpret and enforce these rules as we see fit. The rule of thumb is to just use common sense. Now for those of you who may consider it an accomplishment to get banned from a forum for behaving like an anti-social talentless neanderthal, get a life. For those of you who feel as though you cannot abide by these "restrictions", then get lost. We don't want you here. For those of you who just wanna whine about these guidelines just for the sake of whining, feel free to do so--it's not against any rules to be a pansy. To the rest of you...welcome to Brawl Hall! |
